An optimised user experience and secure work environment are core values at Shiftz. The technology in our digital workspace is designed to meet user needs without losing sight of security. We teach you to use the software that enables you to work more productively whenever and wherever you are.

Mobile working

More and more applications are being made available in Windows all the time, and there’s an increasing number of web-based and SaaS applications too. With over 6 million Windows applications available already, how can you be sure your employees have the tools they need to work efficiently whenever and wherever they want? The following technology makes this possible.

Citrix Netscaler

Our focus is on providing applications and data to users wherever they are. For network and security, we use Citrix Netscaler to translate this into Application Delivery Controllers (ADC). We can run and optimise over 6 million Windows applications securely for users, both on-premise and in the cloud, and the same applies for web-based and SaaS applications. We can also relieve you of outdated login procedures and VPN solutions by providing you with a single portal.

Citrix XenDesktop and Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager

We’re constantly evolving towards more mobile workspaces in which the cloud plays a major role. But the Windows desktop and applications still form the basis of the digital workplace for many organisations, so it’s crucial that all devices have a secure desktop wherever they are. This is why we use Citrix XenDesktop and/or Microsoft System Center to manage the Windows desktops and applications automatically, including roll-out, updates and reporting. And Microsoft System Center and Citrix XenDesktop are optimised to work together, so your employees can make the most of their applications at all times.

Microsoft Enterprise Mobility + Security and Citrix XenMobile

How can you offer personal and business use on the same mobile device, and still be certain your corporate data is secure? The integration of Microsoft and Citrix products means we can offer you both an optimal user experience and fully secure data. We make sure, for example, that Citrix applications offer identical user experiences on all mobile devices.

Collaboration within and outside the organisation

One of our digital workspace’s main benefits is that it helps you achieve more both within and outside the confines of your business.

Skype for Business as Unified Communications Platform

Skype for Business is the platform of choice for communicating with colleagues and external parties. This can be anything from instant messaging and phone calls to online meetings with lots of people. It is of course integrated seamlessly with other Office software and our other solutions, so the only thing you need is a smartphone and internet access.

Citrix Sharefile, Office 365, Microsoft RMS, Microsoft SharePoint and Yammer

Your users can use these applications to work on documents and other data sources both online and offline. Sharing information and files securely is not a problem.

Central management of your devices

Depending on your situation, we can use Citrix XenMobile, Microsoft System Center and/or Microsoft Intune to manage your devices throughout their life cycle: from staging, roll out, inventories, reporting and asset intelligence to support and decommissioning.

Identity management and security

Microsoft Enterprise Mobility + Security provides a solution for the multitude of different identities and passwords used by your employees. With Microsoft EMS, your employees only need to remember one password. Microsoft EMS can also reduce costs thanks to its Password Reset Module.

Citrix NetScaler Unified Gateway provides another solution for making all applications available through a single identity and portal, and these two solutions can be combined.

Innovation in the workplace (Integration of Everything)

We’re still only at the start of the digital age in which the Internet of Things will play a major role. In the workspace of the future, devices will share information to satisfy user needs. This will lead to new openings within various sectors including for example the healthcare and financial sectors. The digital workspace will also be decisive here as it’s optimised for future use with the Internet of Things.
